In order to delete your account from GeoWorld you need to send an email to "admin@mygeoworld.com". Please make sure to send your email request with your GeoWorld account's email address. 

To edit your location address follow below steps:
 

  1. Log in with your GeoWorld account
  2. Click the "Edit profile" button on the top right user menu
  3. Click on the "Edit" button under the location field
  4. On the popup window, write your address and click on the "Find it" button
  5. Make sure that the marker on the map is set on the right address and click on the "Set Location" button on the bottom right corner of the popup window
  6. As soon as the popup window close, click on the "Save changes" button at the bottom of the page

 

To change your name in the account, you have to click the "Edit profile" button on the top right user menu. You can then update your family name under Personal Info tab. Please make sure to click on the "Save changes" button at the bottom of the pages as soon as you update your name.

Yes it can. A group owner can give administrative privileges in a member of his/her group following below steps:
 

  1. The group owner has to go the central page of his group.
  2. Choose the link “Edit Group” button at the left sidebar.
  3. Select the "Group Settings" tab
  4. Click on "+ Administrator" button, under the Administrators section
  5. Select group member on the popup window and click the add button

 

To approve a contact request visit your profile page and click on the Connections tab. To approve your peding requests, click on the "Pending Requests" tab where you can view the enrite pending requests list. 

 

One of the major improvements of the new platform is the introduction of pages. This gives you the flexibility of setting multiple administrators for your page. Invite your colleagues on GeoWorld, connect with them and make them admins of your company or organization page!


Use GeoWorld As


  1. Click on your profile name on the top right.
  2. Click on the name of your company/organization.

That’s it! From this point on, any action you perform is on behalf of your page. If you are done acting as a company / organization page you may switch back to your personal profile by following the same steps as above.


What actions can you do as a page?


  • Post status updates and include photos or videos
  • Participate in the fresh Q&A section
  • Make blog posts
  • Upload albums or files
  • Manage connections
  • Add/remove administrators

As a step of the migration process every page administrator’s profile, transferred from the old GeoWorld, is private. To use this profile as you own public profile and have it appear on Business Directory go to your edit profile page. Next, switch to privacy settings tab and select public as to who can view your profile information.
