Troubleshooting

MyGeoPlayer will not install.
Verify that you have the administrative rights to install new software on your computer.

Verify that the version of your Internet Explorer is 6 or higher.

Internet Explorer’s Security Level might block the installation if it is set too high. In Internet Explorer, click "Tools" in the menu, select "Internet Option", go to the "Security" tab and select "Medium High" or "Medium" as the "Security Level".

MyGeoPlayer opens but images do not display in the view window.
You might have clicked on the edge of a Collection. The polygon highlighting the Collection is a filtered view and it might not be 100% accurate. Try clicking a point inside the collection.

Verify that you have free disk space; images are loaded in a temporary folder on your hard drive.

My login and password don’t work.

Verify that you typed them correctly as user names and passwords are case sensitive; if your password is "MyPass", "mypass" will not work.


Note: If you forgot your password, click on "Forgot Password" to receive an email with your password.

I typed in the search textbox and nothing displayed.
Chances are the search engine did not recognize your query. Please double-check what you typed in the search text box. Or navigate to it by panning and zooming.

There are no available collections in my collections.
To have access to a collection, you need to be subscribed to it. Please contact your local sales representative for more information or send an email to sales@mygeoworld.com.

I am not able to use stereo-ready vision mode.
It is important to verify the following:
  • You have a stereo-ready graphics card.
  • The "Refresh Rate" of your monitor is at least 100Hz.
  • The vision mode is set to "Stereo-ready" in Preferences.
