DESCRIPTION Searching for a Geotechnical engineer to plan, direct, and coordinate activities of all designated projects to ensure that our objectives of each project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding. This position will also be responsible for: providing technical guidance to ensure sound engineering procedures and effective quality control. Possesses the technical experience and expertise of a Senior Licensed Professional or a Senior Registered Geologist. Plans and directs the work of a highly skilled technical and professional staff, placing particular emphasis on quality control. Confers with principals to implement sales and marketing program. Preparation of weekly project status reports. Preparation of project completion reports, proposal completion reports, and client contract forms. Field investigations in hilly and wooded terrain and construction sites. SUPERVISION & DIRECTION: Responsible to work with little or no supervision under direction of the Project Engineers, Project Managers and Corporate Officers. REQUIREMENTS REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE: Must have professional experience working as a Geotech and be a senior licensed professional. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Project Administration: sitting 80%; standing/walking 20%. Visual and textural assessment of physical properties of materials including color differentiation. Weight lifting up to 50 pounds. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Office environment 90%; outdoor weather conditions 10% for site inspections. Moderate noise.
