Slope Stabilisation by piles
I am trying to design bored piles to stabilise a slope in crabonaceous shale layer. The calculations performed by the method mentioned in US Navy mannual DM 7.02 gives a larger lateral thrust~2965 tonns. I feel this 2D method is overestimating my calculations, if anybody can help me. I can send a brief of my problem along with the excel spreadsheet, Regards, Debasis
