Fitzpatrick Engineering Associates, P.C. has provided final design services for earth retaining structures including mechanically stabilized earth (MSE) walls and slopes, gravity walls, and soil nail walls since 1995.FEA has been retained as an expert witness on several projects involving MSE wall or slope failures. Investigation of failed structures were coordinated with other design professionals including surveyors, civil engineers and geotechnical engineers to assess the cause of the failure and provide solutions for reconstruction or stabilization.

Fitzpatrick Engineering Associates has been responsible for a variety of activities involving the design and construction of over 12-million sqaure feet of Mechanically Stabilized Earth (MSE) walls and slopes. FEA has also conducted a number of forensic investigation of failed walls and slopes and provided solutions for repair.
