[Engineering]: Witteveen+Bos is a company based in the Netherlands that provides consultancy and engineering services worldwide in the fields of infrastructure, water, the environment, spatial development and construction. Our multidisciplinary approach to projects is the distinctive feature of the way we work. Our clients are governmental, commercial and industrial organisations, including various types of joint ventures and public-private partnerships. We serve our clients from six offices in the Netherlands and ten international offices. [Deltas, Coasts and Rivers]: We approach the water domain as the entirety of the water cycle and the water system. Our large group of specialists provide advice on water collection, preparation of drinking water, sewer systems, treatment and reuse of waste water, integrated water management and process automation. Our projects require a combination of experience, expertise and innovative strength drawn from different disciplines. We are committed to providing our clients with reliable, sustainable and economic solutions that best meet their requirements and their specific situation. Coupling different expertises within our field of work and developing our own methods and technological concepts allows us to offer state-of-the-art solutions. [Infrastructure and Mobility]: Over the years, road, rail and hydraulic engineering have created national and international infrastructures characterised by their large scale on the one hand and their sophistication on the other. At numerous levels Witteveen+Bos has contributed to this development. In contrast with huge projects like the North-South metro line in Amsterdam, the Fehmarn Belt crossing between Denmark and Germany and the enhancement of the infrastructure around Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, there are numerous smaller ones that tend to be invisible to the user. But what large and small have in common is the combining of existing and new technologies under highly differing local conditions.
