The installation of Reinforced Fill Structures should be performed according to project requirements. Unfortunately, design specifications are sometimes not met during construction, therefore appropriate measures shall be taken to monitor the execution according to contract specifications/special provisions.
The purpose of TC218 Group 3 was to support basic best practices common to construction of MSE and RSS projects collecting national codes of practice for earthworks and published guidelines, listing the documents for reference and providing a short summary of the contents.
