In the run-up to the ISFOG 2020 conference (www.isfog2020.org), I'm pleased to announce a community-driven prediction event on machine learning for pile driveability. Previous experience with machine learning is not required. You can follow the tutorial to get familiar with the data and modelling techniques (https://github.com/isfog/datascience2020). The goal of the prediction event is to make geotechnical engineers more familiar with these data science techniques and generate some discussion on when it is appropriate to use them.
Looking forward to predictions and interesting discussions on the subject.
