In the recent years, many problems related to in situ non-invasive site characterisation urge for understanding the traversal contribution/support that geophysical methods can provide both as a characterisation tool and as a monitoring one. Among the widely used geophysical methods, seismic based methods (active and passive) can contribute in guiding planners, engineers and professionals to optimise the location of boreholes and time evolution of a subsurface phenomenon.
