Session 1 (09:00-10:30). This session will contain a General Report by Professor Atsushi Iizuka, Kobe University, Japan. Other papers presented in this session relate to unsaturated flow (experiments and modelling)

Session 2 (11:00-12:30). Papers presented in this session relate to geo-mechanical behaviour of unsaturated soils, including cyclic loading.

Session 3 (13:30-15:00). Papers presented in this session relate to soil water retention curves, wave propogation and slope stability.
