Alemu Tadese Abraw is currently working as chief technical assistant and researcher in geology department, Arba Minch University, Ethiopia. Alemu has BSc degree in geology from School of Earth Sciences, Bahir Dar University and MSc degree in Engineering Geology from Arba Minch University. He has more than seven years’ experience in lecturing different practical geology courses and doing researches. He assist/taught practical geology courses such as crystallography and mineral optics, igneous petrology, metamorphic petrology, sedimentary petrology, mineralogy, and economic geology for BSc geology students and mineralogy for BSc forensic chemistry students. In addition to teaching, he has developed experience in the use of advanced geophysical equipments such as gravimeter, radiometer, magnetometer, and electrical resistivity meter. Likewise, he is also skilled to conduct XRF analysis, and geotechnical analysis of soils and rocks. Beyond his technical and academic roles, he has also experienced and served as a guest reviewer for several reputable journals, contributing critical feedback and deep insights to the peer-review process for enhancements of published research quality.
