Lecturing undergraduate and post graduate courses in Geotechnical Engineering, soil mechanics, geohazards, engineering geology, hydrology, & environment.Many years of academic , teaching, administrative & research experience in a British system Govt. funded university in a commonwealth country, professional, consultancy & research experience in Geo-engineering, hydrogeology & environment at home and abroad having expertise on geo-engineering, hydrology, soil mechanics, solid waste management, earth system science, influence of rainfall & climate change on infrastructures, natural & built environments, strength of geomaterials for civil & construction works, solid waste management, seepage & stability modelling by using seep/w & slope/w numerical finite element softwares, unsaturated tropical soil engineering, triaxial testing & effective stress analyses, site investigation, drilling & sampling, subsurface investigations, strength of geomaterials,, dam & embankment design, engineering behaviour of problematic soils, landslide hazards, student research works supervision and field visits. Ex. Chairperson of the Department of Geological sciences/JU for 3 years From Oct.2003 --Sept.2006.I have expetise & skills in designing, conducting and interpreting of experimental works related with geo-engineering, hydrogeology & environment, numerical modelling & also experience of presenting & publishing papers in international workshops, journals & conferences. I have also supervised more than 20 post graduate research works at MS and Doctoral Levels.
I have been invited, attended, participated and published more than 55 research publications at national & international levels. My previous academic background, experience as a professional, faculty member, researcher and geo-engineering consultant in a civil engineering company reflect my ability to take any academic, research and consultany positions to take new chalenges of 21st century due to Global climate change.
