Cameron has degrees in International Relations and Chinese Linguistics from the University of Washington, Seattle and most recently worked for The George Washington University in “the other Washington” D.C. as a Data Analyst on major data projects. Cameron obtained a certification in Advanced Data Analytics in early 2019 funded by the U.S. Department of Education, and was a Foreign Language and Area Studies Fellow for Dept. Ed during 2015-16. He has previously lived in Beijing, China as part of the U.S. Department of State’s NSLIY program, and is conversant in Mandarin Chinese. He has expertise in data analysis using Python, web development, and Linux system administration and security. In May 2020, Cameron will be going back to China as a Peace Corps volunteer, returning September 2022.
