    • Mr. Braun has provided geotechnical services on a variety of projects, including geotechnical investigations, foundation inspections, and construction monitoring. He uses field data to prepare detailed geotechnical investigation and design reports for project teams, clients, and third parties. Project reports include earthen dam designs, irrigation canals, municipal utility infrastructure upgrades, building foundations, bridge design, and reservoir expansions. Highlighted projects include:
      Sauder Reservoir, Main Dam stabilization and spillway replacement, St. Mary River Irrigation District: Cody was the field coordinator and site inspector for the rehabilitation and dam stabilization project consisting of a large toe-berm with an internal filter to provide seepage control and improve stability.
      Snake Lake Reservoir Expansion: Cody is a project engineer for the large scale earthen dam project, contributing to the geotechnical site characterization, design, analysis, and construction of the dam. The reservoir includes 8+ kilometers of earthen embankment averaging over 10 m in height, increasing storage capacity by ~65,000 dam3.
      Deadhorse Reservoir : Mr. Braun is a project engineering engaged with the project team to oversee the geotechnical field investigation to provide characterization reports pertaining to the design and borrow investigations. This new irrigation reservoir will feature embankments up to 20 m in height with a storage capacity of ~24,000 dam³.
      He has experience overseeing casing installations under Canadian Pacific Rail (CPR) infrastructure as the onsite geotechnical representative. He has been the on-site representative for 14 large-scale casing installation projects throughout southern Alberta and Saskatchewan. This role requires a thorough understanding of the various installation methods and technical protocols as required by CPR to ensure no delay to existing vital rail line infrastructure occurs. Cody has built a working relationship with CPR personnel and geotechnical reviewers that enables seamless completion of essential projects.
