    • • Prepared scopes, proposals, budgets, specifications, drawing sets, and reports for Project Manager review. Led subcontractor efforts during the proposal stages.
      • Assisted in the development of bid contracts (i.e. specifications, drawings, etc.), cost estimates, and provide bid assistance for clients.
      • Observed daily construction activities for sites with gabion walls, lightweight fill, geogrid reinforced walls, organics, active substations, underpinning, and dams.
      • Performed Phase I and follow-up dam inspections in the state of Massachusetts with a PE registered in the commonwealth of Massachusetts. Inspections were on dams of all sizes and hazards, including Wachusett Reservoir and Quabbin Reservoir. Assisted in writing the inspection reports and recommendations and costs for maintenance, repair, etc.
      • Observed the toe drain and relief well pipe inspections of five USACE of New England dams in Connecticut, Vermont, and New Hampshire. Pipe inspections were performed by a subcontractor with ROVs and snake cameras. Assisted in writing the inspection report and represented GZA with the USACE representative on-site.
      • Led field efforts for subsurface explorations on dams of multiple hazards and sizes and active substations including assistance in budgeting, proposals, subcontractor agreements, and geotechnical subsurface data reports. Subsurface exploration included borings, test pits, field permeability tests, packer tests, and SPT sampling.
      • Assisted in performing and reviewing Plaxis 2D and 3D models analyzing SOEs, retaining walls, haul roads over organics, and pile supported transfer pads.
      • Performed seepage and static and seismic slope stability analyses for multiple dams using SEEP/W and SLOPE/W.
      • Observed diving inspections at dams including review of the final dive inspection report and directing where to inspect to aid in future design.
      • Reduced and performed troubleshooting of historic inclinometer and piezometer data at multiple dams. Performed flushing of existing piezometers at an active hydro-power facility using on-site made de-aired water.
      • Validated environmental laboratory data and performed peer review of validated data that included VOCs, SVOCs, Metals, and Non-Metals/Inorganics.
