To lead and/or provide strong guidance and oversight to projects and teams within the Geotechnics and Tunnels
business.

o Providing technical advice on complex geotechnical/tunnelling issues to clients and internal staff
o Manage key clients developing strategy, technical service offerings and significant business opportunities
o Manage and maintain key client relationships
o Building a reputation as Technical Leader/Lead Consultant with leadership of project teams on consulting assignments
o Leadership of project teams on consulting assignments
o Undertake peer review, expert opinion, and forensic engineering assignments
o Involvement in projects across other sectors including infrastructure, energy, mining and manufacturing
o Develop a profile as a leading consultant within the Australian geotechnical/tunnelling consulting market
o Create productive, long lasting and profitable client relationship through client focused project delivery.
o Ensure compliance with all corporate governance, business system, quality and risk management
obligations
o Guide project delivery to achieve high levels of client satisfaction
o Design, deliver and/or project management of multiple projects of varying complexity and size
o Develop and review project quality and risk management plans
o Understand key contractual and commercial issues
o Prepare and cost quality proposals
o Achieve strategic initiative outcomes
o Develop and implement short and medium term operational and capability development plans for the
business
o Acts as project director, overseeing all aspects of the project (proposal, contract, scope of work, technical
quality and senior review)
o Project management, budgeting and quality control for consulting assignments
