C.A. Oficina de Suelos is a small venezuelan consulting firm established in 1967 working only in Soil Mechanics and foundation engineering for many different government agencies and private sector of the economy. To this date has being involved in more than 2000 projects of different size; the most important being the geotechnical investigation for most of the Caracas Metro lines.
Its Director Ing. Luis E. Galavis is a Civil engineer graduate from Universidad Central de Venezuela and Master of Civil engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Is past President of the Venezuelan geotechnical Society and the Venezuelan Society of Consulting engineers. today is partially retired but maintains great interest in the profession.
