- Associate Professor IV in the Department of Geology at the Federal University of Santa Catarina. Holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Southern Santa Catarina (2008), a Master's degree (2011), and a D.Sc. (2016) in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina. Has expertise in the field of Geotechnics, with emphasis on the Mechanics of Rock and Soil, working on the following topics: mechanical behavior of earth and rock masses, laboratory tests on a small and large scale, and instrumentation of tests. Previously served as the Head of the Department of Geology and currently supervises the Applied Geotechnics Laboratory of the Geological Research Center. Is a member of the Association of Environmental and Engineering Geologists (AEG), the Brazilian Association of Engineering Geology (ABGE), and the Brazilian Association of Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (ABMS).
