Graduated in civil engineering from Indian Institute Of Technology, Kharagpur in the year 1979 and thereafter completed his M. Tech in 1981 from the same prestigious institute.
I started my profession as Assistant Engineer and SDO in Public Health Department, West Bengal Govt. He, thereafter joined as Engineer in ITD Cementation India Limited (previously known as Cemindia Company) on 1.10.1982. I have served this company in various capacities and positions and finally retired as Head of Centralized Design Department of the company on 31.3.2018 as Joint Executive Vice President. My experiences include Design of geotechnical & structural works, Planning, Estimation, Commercial & Contract management, Quality control/ ISO, Handling Joint Venture tenders with reputed foreign companies/ consultants, Monitoring difficult projects and Contract management
Two very important departments of the company i.e. Tendering and Design departments were created under my leadership. I was the nodal person in ISO implementation in his company.
Design works include all kinds of design and design coordination for Building, Marine structure, Bridges, Highways, Elevated and Underground Metro structures, Heavy Steel structures, Water Resources Structures, Tunnels and Special Foundation, PHE structures and Geotechnical designs including use of various softwares.
