I have been associated with various survey / investigations and constructions of hydroelectric projects located mainly in North Eastern Himalayan region of India & Bhutan. Actively involved as a project geologist in investigation & construction of hydro projects located on major river valleys of NE India. My area of interest includes geological field mapping, construction stage geological works, software application, geotechnical investigations, reservoir stability etc.
As a professional engineering geologist, i belief in application of latest techniques to the satisfactory solution of problems or other needs of the project. Geology being a complex subject, i attempt to disseminate scientific information by helping stakeholders & common people to understand their geologic environment, accommodate themselves to it, and correct their seismo-geological apprehension or myth.
Offered services & expertise to allied professions like civil engineering, environment etc, as my profession is having strong ties and links with these departments during the implementation of hydro projects.
Participated in site inspection and construction oversight of field work for a range of project.
Perform dam safety inspections and prepare reports in conformance with govt. Regulatory guidelines.
