Sen has more than 35 years completed and supervised numerous national and international geotechnical, foundations, heavy civil, tunneling and geo-environmental projects. Since 2017 he has been qualified as an Alternate Designated Contact for the Foundations Engineering: Geotechnical (Structures and Embankments) – Medium and Low complexity projects, and Designated Contact for the Foundations Engineering: Tunneling - Medium and Low Complexity with Ministry of Transportation, Ontario (MTO) when he worked in Englobe Corp., responsible for senior technical and quality review of geotechnical reports. He’s registered as additional Designated Contact of Wood for the Foundations Engineering: Geotechnical (Structures and Embankments) – Medium and Low complexity projects in the RAQS system of MTO.
Sen has worked as the Project Manager/Project Engineer of geotechnical/foundation engineering for detailed designs of various transportation, power, mining waste, municipal and commercial projects, engineering and environmental assessments for tunneling construction, bridge upgrading, retrofit, road widening, deep foundations, micropiles and shoring support of deep excavation. Sen is responsible for geotechnical earthquake engineering, soil liquefaction analyses, slope stability analyses, foundation and settlement evaluation associated with tunneling, road and bridge widening, culvert replacement, embankment, municipal waste landfill and tailing dams from various tasks including conceptual planning, feasibility studies, implementation and report preparation for geotechnical investigation, detailed design to peer review of contract documents to liaise with clients and government agencies.
