-Responsible for the overall technical matters related to the Geotechnical Division and shall report to the Regional Manager-Technical (Civil).
-Responsible for processing the customer orders ensuring that the customer requirements are met in accordance with the contract specifications and applicable standard methods.
-Ensure that adequate contract review is being carried out with respect to the Technical matters and shall advise the Regional Manager – Technical (Civil) accordingly.
-Verify and approve the geotechnical reports submitted by the Geotechnical Engineer / Geologists.
Ensure that all staffs under the division are trained adequately to perform the specified duties. If required shall provide the necessary training.
-When training needs are identified, the same shall be communicated to the Quality Assurance Department along with a proposed training plan with the approval of the Regional Manager – Technical (Civil).
-Conducts the training as per the plan and forward all records related to the training to the Quality Assurance Department along with the training evaluation duly approved by the Regional Manager – Technical (Civil).
-Ensure that all equipment used for the testing purpose where required are calibrated and comply with the standard requirements.
Clarify client’s doubts regarding the test results and testing procedures adopted.
-Ensure full compliance with the laboratories own policies and procedures as well as with the ISO / IEC 17025 and ISO 9001.
-Ensure availability of adequate resources to meet the customer requirements and where additional resources are required, the same shall be communicated to the Regional Manager – Technical (Civil).
-Ensure good housekeeping in the department and ensure that all staff adapt to the necessary safety measures while at work.
-Formalizing the Methodologies and Approaches / Method Statement for the calculation and different In-Situ testing and forward to the Quality Assurance Department along with the approval of the Regional Manager – Technical (Civil).
-Responsible for updating the demand of software regarding technical concerns with the approval of Regional Manager – Technical (Civil).
-All invoices, submitted by the Finance department shall be checked for the technical matters against the quotations.
