Environmental Geologist, Leaking Petroleum Storage Tank Corrective Action Specialist
Tracy Obarsky is a Professional Geoscientist and Senior Project Manager in San Antonio (TX) office with over 20 years of experience in various aspects of geology including environmental geology, oil and gas exploration, geophysical exploration, operation and wellsite geology. Ms. Obarsky has completed Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) at various residential, commercial, industrial, and rural properties, including automotive service stations, retail centers, gasoline stations, oil-field service facilities, and manufacturing facilities. Projects that Ms. Obarsky has been involved with include conducting site assessments, logging borings, installing monitoring wells and well development, collecting soil, groundwater, and vapor samples per ASTM standards, and removal of underground storage tanks (UST). Ms. Obarsky has experience with Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) guidelines, including the Texas Risk Reduction Program (TRRP), Waste Management Units (WMU) regulations, and Petroleum Storage Tank (PST) rules. Ms. Obarsky has experience in seismic surveying and seismic analysis along with oil and gas operations, and construction management. Her experience in drilling supervision, logging wells, field crew logistics, and safety is an asset to both her fieldwork and project management.
