Planned and studied the economic uses of the black sand deposits along the Mediterranean Sea coast in addition to other research assignments. Wrote drilling and sampling specifications and supervised Sidi Kreir nuclear power plant site investigation activities. Investigated few other potential sites along the Mediterranean Sea, at Inshas and other locations. During the period 1965-1971, I was in a deputational leave from the Nuclear Materials Corporation to attend Colorado School of Mines in a Ph.D. program.
During the years 1970 and 1971 I attended a post-doctoral program at Colorado School of Mines and University of California at Berkeley.
