Dear colleagues, we would like to draw your attention to the Geotechnical Safety Network (see http://geosnet.geoengineer.org) the mission of which is to promote, coordinate, and support activities relating to geotechnical safety. Within GEOSNet there are two task groups dealing with codes: Task Group 2 "Design code developments in Asia" and Task Group 4 "Design Code Updates". The aim of these task groups is:
