About the Opportunity Millennium Geomatics is currently seeking a full-time Crew Chief in Grand Prairie, Edmonton and Lloydminster. In this key position, your main role will be for the infield coordination of survey projects that require an in-field team lead for multiple survey crews, training of junior crews, and client liaison/collaboration. The successful candidate will be a graduate of a registered Survey or Geomatics Technology program, or have equivalent experience in a related field. You will also need at least 3 years of experience running a survey crew within the Oil & Gas industry. To be successful in this role, you must be well versed with all aspects of oilfield surveying, with proficiency in RTK and static GPS data collection and processing, as well as strong computer skills. If you have experience using MicroSurvey software, have H2S certification, First Aid, ATV, and chainsaw faller safety, then you will be at an advantage above the rest! Strong work ethic and values are crucial to this active role, and you will be required to work throughout Alberta for extended periods of time as part of a 2-person crew.
