Our Client is a specialist engineering firm engaged in the design and supply of innovative, cost-effective systems for mechanically stabilized earth projects. (MSE) The Company Prinicpals and engineers (10 direct employees plus 20 consulting) possess extensive know-how in MSE technology, gained through hands-on experiencewith hundreds of retaining wall projects since 1981. The company provides complete services for MSE projects including feasibility studies, cost estimates, structure enginering and design, construction sequencing documents and technical assistance. This is an exciting opportunity for a person that thrives in an entrepreneurial culture and would like to join an organization at the senior level and grow the company to the next level. For the right person an equity position is real. Reporting to one of the two Partners in the firm, the Director position is a new position and will manage the engineering function including two internal engineers and 20 plus consulting engineers. The position is the first step in bringing the organization (profitable with $12million plus in revenue) to the next standard of quality, professionalism and revenue. The ideal candiate will have 7-10 years of experience (2 in a leadership role), a BS in Civil Engineering/Geoengineering/Geotechnicalengineering and a PE registration. (We will help you obtain the PE if necessary) AutoCAd and LDD software knowlede a big plus. Although MSE experince is a hugh plus, smarts and the ability to work with a mentor to ramp up MSE skills is just as important.
