Terracon has the following opportunity available: Department Manager (Geotechnical) , Nashville, TN Responsibilities: This position will be responsible for managing the Geotechnical Engineering Department. Duties will include engineering analysis, business development, and management of projects. Will manage geotechnical exploration projects, coordinate with drilling & lab staff and prepare proposals/reports. Education and Experience: BS in Geotechnical Engineering or related engineering field required. MS in Geotechnical Engineering or related engineering field required. 10 years experience providing consulting engineering services. P.E. required. Additional Experience or Skills: A working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet; analytical and problem solving ability; demonstrated written and verbal communications skills; and demonstrated ability to effectively manage projects.
