[email protected] Position: Geotechnical Engineer Location: Eureka, California (will have some flexibility to work out in other offices in the state) Salary: Based on Qualifications Relocation: Yes Opportunity: Eureka, CA office has an immediate need for a Geotechnical Engineer who will be responsible for all phases of project management and execution. Geotechnical Engineers will negotiate agreements, conduct technical investigations, produce reports, and maintain client relations. Candidates must be able to work closely with our in house soils and materials testing laboratory. Additional tasks: Include investigating existing subsurface conditions and materials; determining their physical/mechanical and chemical properties that are relevant to the project considered, assessing risks posed by site conditions; designing earthworks and structure foundations; and monitoring site conditions, earthwork and foundation construction. Must Have Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to successfully market technical and professional services, strong written and oral communication, organizational, and leadership abilities. MINIMUM of 5 (5) years technical experience + MIN. five (5) years of Professional Project Management Experience. Education/Registrations/Certifications: * Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering from an accredited university or college. * Professional Geotechnical Engineer License (GE), California Preferred, other states considered * Excellent knowledge of the conditions and engineering requirements in the geographic area. * Valid Driver's license (CA) by hire date * Must be a U.S. citizen or be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship SEND RESUME: [email protected]
