Geotechnical Engineer II
Hudson Engineering is currently seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer for an immediate opening in Central Florida. We are currently working with engineering firms located in the top 50 of the ENR and providing employment opportunities for individuals seeking to make an immediate impact in the industry with national consulting firms. Candidates must have B.S. or M.S. in Engineering. E.I.T./P.E. are preferred. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years experience in civil/geotechnical engineering industry. Ideal candidates will be able to perform routine work with and the ability to apply geotechnical engineering techniques in fields including: land development, transportation, water and wastewater, hazardous waste projects, subsurface investigations, foundation inspections and studies, soil inspections and studies, environmental site assessments, soil and water sampling, boring, augering, drilling, underground storage tanks (UST), well monitoring, phase 1, phase 1, phase 3, report writing, etc. Knowledge of and/or experience with the following are also expected: soil mechanics, shallow and deep foundations, slope stability, earth structures, earth pressures, instrumentation, nuke gauge, construction monitoring, laboratory and field testing.
