Geotechnical Engineers Fairbanks, Alaska Our Fairbanks, Alaska, office is looking for entry-level and experienced geotechnical engineers (full-time, exempt professional positions). Responsibilities *Field explorations and sample collection *Geotechnical laboratory testing duties *Engineering analyses and calculations *Writing reports *Interacting andmunicating with clients and staff Requirements *M.S. degree, Geotechnical Engineering *Coursework and/or working backgrounds in one or more of the following areas soil, rock mechanics, slope stability, engineering geology, permafrost engineering, hydrogeology, and construction management *Available and willing to travel to remote jobsites *Critical thinking and analysis skills *Excellent writing, organizational, andmunications skills *Physically able to endure frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting and carrying 30+ pounds, working in all weather conditions, and driving to and from job sites.
