TBT Engineering Limited is seeking a talented Geotechnical Engineer to join their growing team based in either Thunder Bay or Winnipeg (with travel required). This is a highly varied role that will see you providing engineering, technical and administrative direction on a number of projects by applying sound engineering and technical expertise. Specifically, you will play a pivotal role in: * Managing the direction, supervision, operation, maintenance, planning, development and health and safety/administrative initiatives of the day-to-day operation of projects assigned; * Providing technical direction to engineering and field staff; * Preparing general information and reports for assigned projects; * Liaising with Consultants, Developers, Government Agencies, Contractors and Industry; * Conducting research, reviews, inspections, investigations, and measurements; * Preparing designs, plans, specifications, contract documents, detailed cost estimates and environmental assessments; * Performing contract administration for assigned projects; * Assisting in Training and working with Junior Staff. The successful candidate will have: * M.Sc. or M.Eng. with specialization in Geotechnical Engineering; * P.Eng status with Ontario or Manitoba; * 5+ years post-graduate experience; * Thorough knowledge of theories, principles and practices of Geotechnical Engineering related to highway engineering, construction sites, municipal engineering, and foundations; * Experience in Project Management and Health and Safety.
