Geotechnical information needed

Dear colleges, I need some information about the geology of North Cyprus. My impresion is (after a quick visit) is that the soil profile consists of some carbonatic sand stone. There is now way to find a drillind machune, so I must relay on some geological information and may be on some shallow test pits. Thank's in advance for every information. Ady
