Installation of GCM layer at the inner face of solid waste retaining dam ( Reinforcement soil embankment)
More than 40 m high reinforcement Soil Embankment dam is designed to retain solid waste. The dam is constructed phase wise. In the inner face (towards solil waste disposal face), impreable layer (GCM) will be installed, which would be exposed in open environment for a long time. Now, the question is how this GCM layer can be protected against sun light and safety against vandalism the faces.
