Jr-to-Intermed Geotech Engineers **Update


Location: Edmonton, Alberta, Canada Position is open to recent graduates!! This position offers the opportunity to work with world class engineers and scientists that are dedicated to working on civil engineering projects in arctic environments, from conceptual to detailed design, through to construction and as-built reporting. The successful candidate will be responsible for geotechnical investigation, design and construction supervision of heavy civil engineering projects such as: dams, pipelines, building foundations, oil and gas infrastructure and other civil works mainly on large resource-based projects. The candidate must have a recognized degree in Civil, Mining or Geological Engineering. A graduate level degree in Geotechnical Engineering is preferred but not essential. Previous experience on northern arctic projects and knowledge of permafrost and its impact on design and construction of engineered structures will be a definite asset.
