Lead Geotechnical Engineer Opportunity in Alberta, Canada


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the Geotechnical Group
  2. Handle large-scale site investigation programs
  3. Design and monitor earth structures
  4. Assess and design slope stabilization measures
  5. Design shallow and deep foundation systems
  6. Manage a growing team of professionals (local and regional basis)
  7. Prepare technical proposals
  8. Handle project management and business development
  9. Maintain and develop client relationships

Build and mentor a strong internal team Requirements:

  1. Degree (4 year)
  2. P. Eng. license as well as eligibility for registration with APEGGA 
  3. 10+ years of directly related experience in traditional geotechnical projects employing best business practices(10 years of experience in AB or 15 years of experience in Canada) 
  4. Experience in working with frozen soils an asset 
  5. Background in managing a group of professionals and projects 
  6. Expertise in large-scale site investigation programs, earth structures, slope stabilization measures as well as shallow and deep foundation systems 
  7. Excellent communication skills
