Modeling of piles in Plaxis v8

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could guide me of how to model piles using plaxis v8 so as to investigate negative skin friction. I know the basics to Plaxis v8 so any help would be apprecited Thanks

Hi, I just discovered your question. Due to the fact that I am currently running a project on piles and I am a new user of Plaxis, could you possibly help me with skin - friction and end-bearing piles modelling on Plaxis? Thank you.

posted a sim question on another engineering forum, but no one had a answer. what i have done myself is all the tutorials. it will give u an understanding of the outputs you can generate from that you can determine your stresses along the shaft. maybe email plaxis corp itself and see if they can help on topic. if they do please post there reply, im still learning myself.

if there was a manual available to the plaxis 2d v8..everything will be fine...right now only plaxis v9 2d , 3d and tunnels are available on plaxis.nl

Hi Guys, Regarding pile modelling in PLAXIS, (static Load Test) I am wondering if anybody can tell me how to separate between shaft resistance and end-bearing, to make it more specific, I wanna see the distribution of skin resistance with depth? is there any output to see this distribution? Thanks in Advance
