The Department of Structural and Geotechnical Engineering of the Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile (http://www.ing.puc.cl) will offer two academic tenure track positions to be fulfilled during 2008 in the areas of Numerical Modeling applied to Geotechnical Engineering, and Rock Mechanics and Engineering Geology.
We will be looking preferably for applicants with a PhD degree and under 40 years old. However, exceptionally qualified PhD students and professionals with expertise in geotechnical engineering and documented success in teaching, may also be considered. Proficiency in English and Spanish will be required.
