Quick Undrained test on Saturated clayey sample

Anybody does help me really be appreciated Am doing quick undrained tests on saturated clayey samples with pore water pressure measurment during shearing. The question is : Suppose that we want to do the shearing stage at 50, 100 and 200 Kpa of cell pressure. At the saturation stage we may increase the cell pressure to 200 Kpa (or even more) and back pressure to something less than cell pressure. So when the B-Value reaches to 95% or more the cell pressure is 200 Kpa and back pressure something like 190 Kpa. In the first confining pressure for shearing stage we have to reduce the cell pressure to 50 Kpa and Back pressure to (what ?) , is it correct to do this and let the pore water pressure inside the sample equilised? I wonder if anybody helps me in this area. Moreover any paper or textbook in this subject would be appreciated.
