Small earthquakes add up: at the Oct 6 public hearing about fracking in NY , NYC Commissioner of DEP stated that aquaducts that deliver water to the city are not designed to withstand forces such as fracking nearby let alone earthquakes. Small quakes can crack foundations and bridges and sewer systems and worst they can crack some pipe or container at a nuke plant. Injection wells were stopped in Arkansas after swarms of small earth quakes.

The main reason for earthquakes is different and not because of a gas. The places that are prone to earthquakes are to be taken care of.
