Shear strength properties of volcanic rocks in hong kong
Can anyone give some ideas on shear strength of volcanic rocks (granodiorite and tuff rock mass) in Hong Kong? We are analysing sewerage tunnels, the average value for the UCS and E pair is 150MPa/70GPa. The rock is also fresh and relatively unjointed with wide spaced joints.
