Greetings! I briefly describe myself and my strong points which should be comparable to the Qualifications/Experiences/Strengths for “Senior Geotechnical Engineer”. I am a Permanent Resident of New Zealand and have extensive experience in New Zealand, Australia, India, Ethiopia and Bhutan. I have a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering with Honors (equivalent to Washington Accord), Certificate of Proficiency in Advance Geotechnical Engineering and Master in Transportation Engineering (University of Auckland), and have enjoyed several key responsibilities such as: • Around 13 years postgraduate experience in international Engineering Consultancy in roles of increasing responsibility and project complexity with focus in the field of Geotechnical & Foundation engineering and Highway Infrastructure, • Expertise in Foundations including shallow and deep foundations for various types of Infrastructure, especially High-rise buildings with basements/Highways/Motorways/Rails/Ports. • Management, planning, technical supervision, designs, execution and quality control, safety hazards and its Mitigations related to all geotechnical activities that provides innovative, cost effective and practical solutions in the consultancy as well as construction industry, • Contract documentation, project planning, managing contractual claims & financial management, client liaison, with experience in contractual claims/litigation in the FIDIC/NZS3910, Risk Management/Cost Control with @Risk Software, Economic evaluation with NZ EEM2 software • Cost-effective means of ground improvements to significantly enhance overall seismic performance, liquefaction hazards and remedial measures of the roads/buildings by means of sheet pile walls, Geogrid Raft, Compaction, Soil Stabilisation with cement/lime, Stone Columns, Reinforced Earth Wall, • Comprehensive knowledge of PLAXIS, GALENA, WALLAP, ALLPILE, SVSLOPE, GSLOPE, GWALL, P-Y Curves/Brooms Method, IRC Method.
