Underground Senior Project Geologist
Eco Innovative Resources, LLC is currently seeking a Underground Senior Project Geologist in Elko, Nevada. Candidate will be responsible for establishing, managing, and prioritizing project activities associated with underground geology and underground hydrology. Further responsibilities include, but are not limited to: regular updates of the geological model, the creation of grade control models for resource updates, collection of hydrological data and implementation of the dewatering system in line with planning activities. Incumbent will contribute to geological logging of diamond core, RC and sludge hole chips to a consistent and high standard. Candidate will assist in the planning of infrastructure design and bore installation, maintain QAQC protocol and demonstrate a working knowledge in applicable mining software. Previous supervisory experience is preferred. The future employee should possess strong experience in core logging, geological mapping, data validation, geological interpretation and modeling. A Bachelor's degree in Geology, Geological Engineering or a related field is required, as well as, strong safety and leadership skills. A minimum of 7 years of experience with an emphasis in underground gold mining is preferred.
