About the Opportunity SGS Canada has 50+ openings for Concrete, Piling and Compaction Testers to work full time and on contract (6-months+) in various locations of Alberta. In this active role, your main responsibility will be to carry out standard tasks at project sites. More specifically, your duties will be centered on material testing of soil, compaction, concrete, and piling. To apply for this role, you will need: At least 1-2 years of related field experience; A CCIL, CSA, or ACI concrete based certification required; A Civil Engineering Technology Diploma/Certificate OR Soil/Concrete/ Piling Short Courses; Knowledge of using a Nuclear Densometer for compaction testing; CSTS/ OSSA training certificates required; and A Valid full Canadian driver's license with a clean driver's abstract (for the last 3 years).
