720MW Mangdechhu Hydropower Plant, Bhutan is completed/commissioned/dedicated to the Royal Government of Bhutan by the Hon'ble Prime Minister of India on 17th August 2019. I started this Project from blueprint stage and got commissioned at optimum cost and time. Mangdechhu Project encountered geotechnical problems which were addressed with proper solutions. The following 2 technical problems which are significant, were addressed apart from many others;

1. Placement of concrete cut-off wall in place of permeation grouting in the upstream coffer dam.
2. 3D Numerical Modelling by 3DEC software for Underground Power House Cavern.
