6/12/2013 COGAN Survey
The EU would like to determine competencies of geotechnical engineers using numerical methods for analysis. Therefore it has created COGAN (http://cogan.eu.com/) which will produce a educational database and e-learning modules for users of geotechnical numerical software.
A company called Terrasolum has been rewarded to undertake a representative survey (online survey) among users, trainers and policy makers of numerical software in geotechnics (Rock and Soil Mechanics).
TC306 has been asked to circulate the online survey among its members and affiliates. The online survey is available here:
https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/COGAN .The deadline for completing the survey is 15.12.2013.
A statement confirming the neutrality of the project has been issued to TC306 by the project coordinator NAFEMS (www.nafems.org).
