Hello Everyone! I will be attending GeoCongress in Minneapolis next week. This is ASCE's annual conference and usually very well attended by lots of professionals around the country. There is always a good amount of students there as well since they also run student competitions. As a young professional though, it could be very daunting to be among people who all seem to already know each other. How do you introduce yourself to other people? Do you strike up conversations at the coffee line during breaks? When is it okay to ask for a business card? If you have any tips you would like to share with your fellow young professionals, please add them to this discussion!
