On behalf of the ISSMGE TC304 (Engineering Practice of Risk Assessment and Management), we are pleased to open the TC304 Student Contest Session at ESREL 2019 (www.esrel.org) that will be held in Hannover on 22-26 September 2019. The Student Contest Session will take place on Sept 22.
The participants for the TC304 Student Contest session are required to address the Question (download link) and submit a full length paper in English (the paper will not be published as a part of the conference proceedings). The participants will also present their results during the session (10 minutes presentation plus 5 minutes Q&A). The participants must be students (single or a group of undergraduate, graduate, or PhD students). Academic staffs (e.g., professors) cannot be participants, although their names can be mentioned in acknowledgements.
A TC304 award committee will review the papers/presentations and select the winner of the ISSMGE TC304 Student Contest Award. An award certificate will be given to the winner during the conference. Depending on the number of participants, several encouragement awards may be given as well.
