In an Arid Country, the absence of thick soil profile that may infiltrate a part of the rain and the absence of vegetation that may obstruct the water flow, a flash flood may cause serious damages. The created photo album is an example of the extent of damage done by a flood caused by 80mm of rain. In order to avoid such mishaps, a flood gage equipped with an alarm system installed upstream of the valley may help, but the construction of a structure that may retard or control the flood is inevitable.
