I am doing UG final year project on Geotech. I have to model soil liquefaction in different soil layers but I am not able to compute it. Kindly if someone can guide me regarding the useage of QUAKE/W 2004, I would be much obliged.
Do you have flexibility in terms of the software you have to use?
I mean, the final goal is "finish the project successfully no matter what tools used", or Quake must be used for that project.
Flac, proshake, Plaxis, GTSNX I can give you a brief guide and reference but not for Quake.
I think the bottom line is what input parameters you have and what types of output, results (behavior, shear strain, soil response or like member forces of embedded foundation..etc.) you are expecting to get
Asif, send me a quick email [email protected]. I might be able to point you in the right direction and get you using a more recent version. Tell them you were talking to me on GeoWorld.
